Kathy’s love for Charlotte and her professional and personal experiences prepared her well to be a successful Broker/Realtor and led to her becoming a Top Producer at Corcoran HM Properties. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Accounting. Post-graduation, Kathy had a successful career as a CPA for KPMG in Tulsa and subsequently, Deloitte in Charlotte, NC with a client list ranging from some of the nation’s largest SEC companies to local charities and non-profits.

As Kathy bought, sold, renovated and built her own homes and assisted with her husband’s construction company, her interest in real estate grew. In 2013, she was appointed to the Mecklenburg County Board of Equalization and Review which is charged with hearing appeals and ruling on property valuations. Her work on the Board continues and gives her unique insight into Mecklenburg County’s real estate markets and trends. All these experiences led to Kathy following her desire to assist others with their real estate needs and pursuing a career in real estate.

Kathy’s experiences with real estate and construction combined with her auditing/accounting skills and community involvement go hand and hand and have proven to be invaluable in navigating Charlotte’s real estate market for her clients. Also, her ties from being a long-time resident of Charlotte active in real estate has benefited her clients in the highly competitive market in that she has been able to identify off-market properties for their consideration. She enjoys helping her clients and providing them with tailored service as every transaction is unique to the parties and properties involved.

Kathy has called Charlotte home since 1991, currently residing in Myers Park. She and her husband have three children who were born and raised in Charlotte. They are thrilled that their two eldest returned to Charlotte post college to begin their careers. Their youngest attends UNC Medical School. Still residing at home with them are the family dog, Samson, and tortoise, Leo. When not assisting her clients, Kathy treasures time with her family and friends, riding her horse, cheering on her favorite football teams the Oklahoma Sooners and the Carolina Panthers, going to concerts and visiting the beach or anywhere tropical.
