Joe is dedicated to working with individuals, couples and families to help them find their perfect home, and navigate the complicated process of becoming owners, sellers or investors.
Born and raised in New York City, Joe has a long-standing interest and involvement in local real estate. In addition to his professional understanding of the marketplace, his personal experience owning multiple pre- and post-war co-ops over the last 20 years has given him a buyer’s view of the city’s wide range of neighborhoods and inventory, as well as a firsthand understanding of the mortgage and co-op board processes.
While serving on his own co-op board, for example, Joe helped implement a capital improvement campaign that included mortgage refinancing, window replacement, and Local Law 11 projects. He has also done volunteer work with community organizations that address social and quality of life issues that impact the entire city.
What People Are Saying..."Joe’s total skill set made a difference in the refurbishment and sale of 10J – from the creation of the video, supervision of the realistic renderings, the diplomatic way he worked with the super...the task getting the apartment ready for market seemed absolutely daunting. I don’t think that what we ultimately accomplished would have been possible without the unwavering support and guidance I received from Joe."Raising a family in Manhattan has been another valuable source of knowledge for Joe’s buyers and sellers. He has firsthand knowledge of the unique challenges facing parents in NYC. His daughters have participated in sports and music programs throughout the City and attended a combination of local public and private schools, including Columbia Grammar, East Side Middle School, Horace Mann, The Anderson School and Dalton. Helping his (now adult) daughters search for apartments in Hamilton Heights, Brooklyn, and both the Lower and Upper East Sides have also served as personal windows into the intricacies of the market for younger clients.
Joe and his family are active in the cultural life of the city, attending concerts and theater performances each year, and supporting other cultural and philanthropic organizations and institutions that make living in this city an extraordinary experience, including support of The Food Bank for the City of New York. Joe’s other talents are as a guitarist and band leader. His music company, “Center State Orchestras” has performed more than 1000 special events in NYC.
