Joe knows that the purchase or sale of a
home is usually a major life event, and he treats each client with the
attention and care that reflects the importance of this event in their lives. Whether his buyer-side client is looking for a
primary residence, a weekend house or a pied-a-terre, Joe provides his unique
insights and knowledge to identify properties that reflect the client’s needs
and wants. Seller-side clients not only get the benefit of Joe’s knowledge
about pricing and negotiation, but also his insights about preparing their
property for sale. Joe then guides his clients through the entire process from making
and negotiating offers to closing – including inspections and, in the city,
co-op Board approval.
Born and raised in
New York, Joe has always had a deep interest in residential real estate. In
addition to his professional experience and understanding of the marketplace, Joe’s
personal experience searching for purchasing and owning multiple pre- and
post-war apartments in the city and a home in the Catskills has given him first-hand
experience with the wide range of communities and inventory.
In today’s unusual marketplace, Joe’s innovative
approach and commitment to his clients enabled a $2.35M sale to close remotely
during the very early stages of the Covid stay-at-home restrictions in NYC, and
during the height of the
upstate COVID-19 buying frenzy, Joe found a young NYC professional couple’s
dream home under the Shawangunk ridge in Gardner which is now in contract.
