One of the few absolutes in Carole Zelner's life has been knowing she always wanted to live in New York City. Carole arrived here on her first day out of college, and has since lived and worked in many neighborhoods throughout Manhattan. Even after all these years, she still would never live anywhere else. That passion is what drives Carole each day in her work as a Manhattan real estate professional who helps clients realize that same contentment in a home.
To Carole, a long-time Upper West Side resident and dedicated real estate professional, "it's all about your home," and her clients' needs, no matter what stage of life you're in. As a mother raising her two children in Manhattan, Carole knows the ins and outs of her neighborhood, and understands what's most important for families today. She not only possesses expert market knowledge, but first-hand experience when it comes to the Upper West Side's most child-friendly buildings, best playgrounds, family-oriented restaurants and stores, even public and private schools (from pre-school through to high school). Carole's children have attended Columbus Pre-School, P.S. 87, The Delta Program at M.S. 54, and Stuyvesant High School.
While Carole has worked extensively with new families, she also represents numerous empty nesters who want to enjoy life in the city now that their children are grown - whether they seek a primary home or pied a terre. Carole is all about helping people find the home that best suits them, and can accommodate their changing needs. She is a skilled problem-solver with a positive attitude who enjoys the challenge of matching clients with their dream homes. Carole is also known for going the extra mile, lending her keen organizational and nurturing skills when helping clients with everything from setting up the nursery to packing up and preparing for a move.
Prior to entering real estate and having her own business, Carole worked for over 15 years in the transportation field in sales and marketing positions. She graduated from The University of Rochester, and has an MBA from Babson College. In her little spare time, she likes to travel, read, go to movies and bicycle.
