Annie Loo specializes in rentals and sales in Manhattan, but especially likes to assist clients who are relocating from other cities, states and countries. Originally from Malaysia, she came to the U.S. in 1992 to attend college in the Midwest, then moved to New York City in 1996, her home ever since.
A previous renter on the Upper West Side, and current resident/owner/past board member in a co-op in Morningside Heights, Annie is knowledgeable of the neighborhoods and real estate procedures. She makes a point to regularly explore other parts of the city and the outer boroughs, to learn about different communities and market trends.
Annie graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Journalism in Advertising, and minors in Marketing, Communications and Psychology. She served as an account executive at Wunderman, a Young & Rubicam advertising and direct marketing agency, for eight years on major clients like AT&T, Citibank, 1-800-Flowers and others. Annie subsequently worked for two not-for-profit organizations: Achilles International, and New York Road Runners where she managed the International Travel Partners program that brought thousands of international runners to participate in the NYC Marathon every year. Her extensive sales, marketing, business development, program management and client service experience is invaluable to her real estate clients. Annie is highly organized and meticulous with details, yet flexible and creative in finding solutions and resolving issues. She speaks fluent English and Malay, is conversant in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, and enjoys various forms of fitness (Zumba, yoga, Pilates, cycling and climbing). Annie and her husband also love to travel when time allows.
